Gateway District Sales announces the promotion of Glendia Ayers

Gateway District Sales is pleased to announce the selection of Glendia Ayers as the new Senior Business Solutions Specialist. EAS-19. As a Headquarters employee domiciled in the Gateway District, Glendia will identify new business opportunities within the Mid Missouri Area, negotiate pricing agreements and coordinate customer service needs, and close sales to increase postal revenue.

Glendia is also the Program Coordinator for the Employee Engagement Programs for the Gateway District.

Glendia Ayers brings much knowledge and experience to her new position as Senior Business Solutions Specialist. She began her career as a clerk in Hannibal, Missouri in 1994, where she also served as a 204B. In 2002, Ayers became Postmaster in St. Elizabeth, Missouri, and supplemented her experience with several detail assignments. Glendia joined the Sales group in 2004, serving as the Account Manager for the Columbia/Jefferson City, Missouri area. In 2008, she was brought on board the Business Development Team as a Small Business Specialist. When the Sales group and Business Development Teams joined forces last year, Glendia became a Business Solutions Specialist. With more than 6 years focused on revenue generation, and the skills she has developed throughout her career, Glendia will serve the Gateway District well as she takes on her new role.

In her new position, she plans to “meet and exceed postal revenue generation goals and objectives by identifying and closing new business opportunities throughout Gateway.”
